Online Event - MaRS Impact Week 2020

The first-ever MaRS Impact Week will take place from November 39 - December 4, 2020 and it will tackle some of society's greatest challenges — from smart cities and climate moonshots to ESG investing and creating a fairer version of capitalism. This five day immersive online event is Canada's leading conference. It is for people who believe that innovation can create a better world MaRS Impact Week will present multipronged approaches to tackle the enormous challenges the world is facing including climate change, COVID-19, soaring unemployment, and increasing inequality. This is an event where profit meets purpose, a place to discuss the future of green technologies, and ways of scaling innovations to achieve a meaningful global impact. This event will address these issues through conversation and informative breakout sessions.

The MaRS event will host thousands of innovators from across the globe who will engage in deep discussion on the most pressing technological challenges of our time. They will share the models, trends and strategies that are helping build a better, more sustainable future. Attendees can learn from visionaries who are reshaping markets to leverage business and private capital for social good.

The event will be attended by more than 5,000 people including top entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and media from across North America. .Attendees will benefit from unique learning opportunities including 80 sessions exploring the most pressing technology issues of our time host more than 100 inspiring speakers and thought leaders from across the globe including some of the biggest names in the tech, innovation and impact sectors.
