New digital teaching resources list supports National Skills Fund courses

A new searchable content list is now available to help further education (FE) providers meet the Department for Education’s National Skills Fund (NSF) adult education offer, from April 2021.

In partnership with the Assocation of Colleges (AoC), Jisc has worked with publishers and awarding organisations to identify and collate learning resources to support teaching practitioners and learners.

The comprehensive list, which is available as a spreadsheet to download will save FE providers’ time searching for appropriate content and will allow teachers to make better use of digital learning resources for their courses.

Practitioners are able to search for the courses their college is delivering and find relevant resources to incorporate in teaching, or to use as part of student learning activities.

The spreadsheet will be updated on a weekly basis, integrating any new information. And from the end of April, Jisc hopes to be in a position to expand the offer to include subject-specific resource lists.

Through level 3 courses, the NSF aims to help adults  gain the valuable skills they need to improve their job prospects. This in turn will aid economic recovery and boost the supply of skills that employers are looking for.
